Herbal and natural forms of health have been around for thousands of years,as God created them at the beginning of time, and were the dominant modality for much of time, until the last few centuries. Medicine as we know it today has made great strides as well, and both of these methods can be beneficial. Each have a time and place, definitely! And as a natural minded mama of faith, though, I first look to herbs and oils and God’s Creation for solutions to any minor issues we run into.
There are pros and cons of each – check out my article Natural Remedies Aren’t God for more of my view on this!
If you want to learn more about herbs and how to use them to promote health, I highly encourage the resources that Earthley shares. We all love a holistic, natural view of health, when applicable. And summer is a perfect time to learn!
After all, herbs are recognized by the body as food, so by using them we are nourishing our bodies to maintain health, and supporting the body in what it is doing to heal itself – as God designed our bodies to be capable of incredible things!
There is much tradition and research that go into how herbs can be used in a variety of situations which I can’t wait to share with y’all, natural mamas! This includes sharing herbs for conception and first trimester woes, and more – I am currently taking an herbs in pregnancy course, along with my doula training, and have learned so, so much.
The natural knowledge is there for the taking – It’s time we regain our lost knowledge on how to use natural remedies for our own benefit..
