Do you know the importance of removing stressors for your own health??
High cholesterol, headaches, asthma, and acne, anxiety, insomnia, autoimmune disorders, gastrointestinal issues, (among many more common health ailments) can all be traced back to stress. And gut health, as well as many other factors – but that’s another story.
Here we focus on how stress contributes to our health. Back to the topic at hand:
Stress makes you feel emotionally poor, and also exacerbates any health problems you may already have.
It can even create new ones.
Stress is a built in psychological response to a threat. When you are stressed, your body responds. You don’t even have to think about it. Your blood vessels constrict, your bloodstream and pulse rise, you breathe faster, hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol run rampant…
And when you are chronically stressed, those psychological changes over time, can lead to health issues.
Can anyone relate?
So, do you want to feel better? Not able to change the situation?
Then try this: Change your perception. Change your response. (This is where much of our stress lies- within us)
